Hi Lis,
Great post on why folks should head out to Surfaces. In addition to the reasons you mentioned, I’d like to add a benefit of being at Surfaces is the education seminars that you, I and others are presenting. “As long as we are learning, we are living!” I just spent two days in Scottsdale, AZ (not too shabby considering the lousy weather back East) with over 300 consultants, trainers, and executive coaches. It seems that now more than ever businesses are looking to consultants to help them hire and retain talent, develop a strategic direction, improve communication, etc… Collaboration in the form of finding people who fill in the knowledge and experience gaps is a key to success, in my opinion. I’m excited to be presenting two seminars at Surfaces as well. I hope to see folks at my pre-Surfaces seminar, “Dynamic Communication”, Monday afternoon from 1:00-4:00pm, and “Increase Your Profitability With S.U.C.C.E.S.S.” Tuesday morning at 7:00am. Yep, 7:00AM…I’m one of the “opening acts” before the General Session with the “industry. Bring coffee! So, if you’re coming to Surfaces, make it a point to attend the education seminars. Ms. Calandrino – I won’t be able to attend Surfaces, but I will be at ColorCenter the following week. Your seminars sound essential, will you be presenting the sames ones there?
